Trump Is Campaigning in Georgia for the Third Time in Two Weeks for His ‘Great Friend’ Rick Jackson

ATLANTA — After Donald Trump campaigned with Rick Jackson last week at a tele-rally on Sunday and campaign stop in Dalton on Friday, Trump just can’t get enough and is returning to Georgia for the third time in two weeks to campaign for Jackson, who he calls a “great friend.”

Since launching his campaign, Rick Jackson has pledged his loyalty to Donald Trump over and over and over again. Jackson has said that he’ll govern “just like Trump,” and told the AJC that he “couldn’t name a single White House policy he disagrees with.” He has said that he will be “Trump’s favorite governor” and that he will be “Trump with a Southern tone.” Jackson even gave Trump multiple $1 million donations before receiving his endorsement.

“Donald Trump is coming back to Georgia again in an attempt to elect his ‘great friend’ Rick Jackson, because Slick Rick Jackson would do whatever Donald Trump wants as governor,” said Tharon Johnson, Keisha for Governor campaign manager. “Donald Trump heard Rick Jackson just like Georgians have: Jackson has given Trump $2 million and has said he wants to be Trump’s ‘favorite governor.’ Now, Donald Trump is returning the favor by coming back to Georgia to support Rick’s campaign.
