Jackson’s Real Estate Company Threatened to ‘Kick the Hell’ Out of a Family in Canton Whose Home Was Wrongly Foreclosed On

ATLANTA — Today, Keisha for Governor released new ads detailing how Rick Jackson preyed on a family in Canton whose home was wrongly foreclosed on and dragged them through a “brutal legal battle” that lasted years.

An investigative report from the Daily Beast found that Jackson’s real estate company purchased a Georgia family’s home during a foreclosure sale that shouldn’t have happened. Jackson’s company threatened to “kick the hell” out of them if they didn’t leave, even though the Georgia Supreme Court said Jackson was wrong.

“Low Moments”

BRYAN JACKSON : I was proud when we bought our home. It felt like we’d made it.

But we faced tough times and fell behind on our mortgage.

Rick Jackson sees those moments as an opportunity.

As a real estate developer, Jackson spent years trying to take a Georgia family’s home.

And even though the Supreme Court said Jackson was wrong, he dragged them through a brutal legal battle.

Jackson’s company threatened to “kick the hell” of them if they didn’t leave.

It makes me feel sick. Rick Jackson is wrong for Georgia.

And that’s when predators like Rick Jackson come in.
